INORGANIC FIBERS

Aramid Fibers

Fibers formed from a special glass both in filament yarns and staple fibers.

Staple fibers are used for architecture, vehicles, shipping, space ships, refrigerators, etc., as sound-, heat-insulating materials and heat reserving materials. By contrast, because filament yarn can be woven, filament yarns are used for electric insulating material or flame retardant curtains as well as plastic reinforcement materials as staple fibers.

1. END-USES
Lamp Shade, Curtains, Insulators and Heat-Insulating Materials for TV, Washing Machines, Refrigerators, Reinforced Plastic (Pipes, Sport Cars, Motor Boats, Skis, Fishing Rods, Bath Tubs, Septic Tanks, etc.), Building Materials, etc.
2. FEATURES
  1. High tensile strength, excellent resistance to heat, and flame retardancy.
  2. Excellent heat- and electric-insulating.
  3. No water absorption.
  4. Very resistant to acid and other chemical agents. Non-attackable by molds and insects.
