- Polychlal Fiber

Fibers manufactured by copolymerization of polyvinyl alcohol with polyvinyl chloride. Specific gravity, moisture absorption, tensile strength and thermal properties are intermediate between those of Vynilon fiber and polyvinyl chloride fibers. Polychlal fiber is flame resistant similar to the polyvinyl chloride fiber. Polychlal fiber is widely used for household applications such as curtains and carpets.
